Do you want to learn more about the various layout options offered on the results set? Results can be displayed by the following views: List, Grid, Collapse/Expand All, and Collapse/Expand Individual Results. Each of these views are discussed below.
List: Displays your search results going vertically down the page, in which the order is dependent on the Sort By settings. An example of the List view option is shown below.

Grid: Displays your search results going horizontally across the page, in which the order is dependent on the Sort By settings. In the example below, the same search results for candy, as used above in List view, is displayed using the Grid option.

Collapse / Expand All: The
Collapse All
button, located to the left of the Sort
By drop-down list, displays your search results with only the
title, average borrower rating if applicable, author, selected items
check box, and availability status symbol. This option allows
you to view more search results at one time. When you click
the Collapse All button, the
button automatically changes to the Expand
All
button. Click
the Expand All button to return
the results back to the original view. An example of the Collapse All view option and the
change of the arrow direction are shown below.

Collapse / Expand
Individual Results: The Collapse
and Expand
buttons, located below the
number in the individual search results, allows you to select which
search results to collapse or expand. In the example below,
the titles for number 1 and 3 are displayed using the Collapse
button and titles for number 2 and 4 are displayed using the Expand button.
