Do you want a quick view of book jackets of items setup by your librarian? The Display Case on the right panel of the Titles page serves as a quick reference to view book jackets of various types. Some tabs displayed might include an upcoming holiday, Most Read, New Titles, Bestsellers, amongst others. Depending on your library's setup, if the Display Case is not shown, you will not be able to view this option.
An example of the Display Case containing NYT Bestsellers and New Titles tabs is shown below.

By using the Down arrow
button, you can view additional items. The Up arrow
button takes you back to the previously viewed items. Tip!
Broaden or limit the number
of book jackets by selecting Locations.
When you place your mouse over the book jacket a pop-up appears as shown in the example below.

The pop-up provides the following information and their description:
Title of the item
By: Author.
Collection: The section where to find the item within the library.
Call #: The number assigned by the library, showing the first available copy. This information will help you determine where to locate the item on the book shelf.
Year: Year published.
Format symbol:
A symbol representing the type of format of this item. For
example,
,
,

,
, amongst others. Placing
your mouse over the symbol displays the name of the format in text.
Availability status symbol: If a solid green circle is shown in the upper-right corner, the item is available. If a solid red circle is shown in the upper-right corner, the item is not currently available at this time.
Amazon: In some cases, depending on your library, Image by: Amazon.com displays. Click Amazon.com to go directly to the Amazon.com Web site for additional information on that particular item.
Details: View additional information. Tip: To go directly to the Details page, click the book jacket, instead of placing your mouse over it. For more options on the Details page, see View Title Details.
Request: Place item on request. The word Hold might display instead of Request, but either way the meaning is the same. Depending on your library's setup, this option may not be available at this time or the Request button might only be displayed if the item is currently checked out. Therefore, you would not be allowed to place a request for available items located on the shelf. For more information on placing requests, see Place Item on Request.
Map: Locate this item on the library map. Depending on your library's setup, if Map is not shown you will not be able to utilize this option. Tip: First, verify the item is available, by seeing if there is a solid green circle located on the upper-right corner of the pop-up. For more information on using the Map option, see Locate Item on Bookshelf.
Add-to-list
button: Save this item to the
My Lists drawer to export
into a Bibliography format, subscribe to a News Feed, or for future
reference. For more information on this option, see Save
Lists.

and Add-to-list
buttons
above require you to be logged on. If you are not currently logged
