Save Lists

Do you want to save selected titles to a list for future reference or to export your list into a Bibliography format?  Lists are populated when selecting the add_to_list_button_1.gif button.  This button can be found at the following locations:  Titles page, Browse Genre page, Details page, or Display Case.  Depending on your library's setup, if the Display Case or Browse Genre is not shown, you will not be able to add items to a list from those particular options.

The following add-to-list add_to_list_button_1.gif button locations are discussed below:

From any of the locations mentioned above the add_to_list_button_1.gifbutton allows you to save ONLY the selected item.  Multiple result items can be saved at one time by selecting the individual search result check boxes, located to the right of the author's name, as shown below.  Selecting the check box highlights the title bar of the item.

When you click the Add-to-list button from any of the locations discussed above, if you have not logged on to your account, a dialog box prompts you for your credentials. Type your Library ID/PIN or User Name/Password credentials.  If you forgot your credentials or for more information on how to access your account, see Log On.  If you do not have an account, see your librarian in order to set one up.

Once logged on, a dialog box appears, allowing you to save to My List or create your own heading.  By selecting Create New List, a blank text field box appears, as shown below.

There is no limit on how many lists you can save.  After several saved lists, use the scroll bar on the right side to scroll down to view all of your titles.

To view your saved list, click the My Lists drawer, located in the lower-left section of the Titles page. My List is shown as the default; only the items you saved under this heading appears here.  If you created a new list, click the title of your saved list shown on the right pane of the drawer, as shown in the example below.

The number shown in parenthesis indicates the number of items in that list.  If you have multiple lists saved, click the heading of the one you want to view.  The order in which the lists are displayed is from oldest to newest; therefore, in our example above, Presidents Report was saved first, containing three (3) items, Cancer Research was saved second, containing four (4) items, and James Patterson's Suspense Novels was saved last, containing twelve (12) items.

Once your list is displayed, you will find the selected list title with the number of items shown in parenthesis.  In the left column, you will find your list of items along with its respective author.  In the middle column, you will find the format and publication year for the item.  If letters appear cut off, place your mouse over the heading;  the heading starts to scroll so you can view its entirety.  In addition, you can do the following:
