Would you like to request multiple items on a page all at once? The process is very easy. Depending on your library's setup, this option may not be available at this time or the Request button might only be displayed if the item is currently checked out. You may not be allowed to place a request for available items located on the shelf.
Where
can you place multiple items on request? Multiple requests
can be placed at the following two locations: Titles
search page or My Lists. Both of
these options are discussed below.
Note: The word Hold
might display instead of Request.
Titles
search page: After you perform a search on the Titles
search page, select the individual search result check boxes of the
items you would like to place a request, located to the right of the
author's name, if applicable, as shown below. Tip!
Only select the check boxes of the items that have a Request
button. Failure to follow this tip will result in an error message.
Items without the Request
button can be located on the shelf. To request all of the items
on the page, select the Select All
check box located
besides the Next button.

Clicking individual check boxes or the Select All check box highlights the title bar of the item(s) and activates the pushpin, as shown below.

Click the pushpin
button
displayed at the top of the result list, as shown in the example below.
This option is only available from the Titles search page.

If you have not logged on to your account, a log on dialog box prompts for your credentials. Type your Library ID/PIN or User Name/Password credentials. If you forgot your credentials, or need information on how to access your account, see Log On. If you do not have an account, register for a temporary library card or see your librarian to set one up.
Once logged on, a dialog box appears with a drop-down list to allow you to select the location as to where you want to pick up the items once they arrive. After you have selected your location, click the Request button located to the right of the drop-down list, as shown in the example below.

A message displays advising whether your requests were placed successfully. All successful requests are now located under Requests in My Account. When the status states Arrived in the middle column, the item is ready for pickup at the location specified.
If you are denied approval for some or all requests, a message displays advising which items are unsuccessful. By hovering over the blue question mark, a pop-up displays advising why that item cannot be placed on request. Some reasons why you might be denied:
You have reached the maximum number of allowed requests.
You have outstanding fines.
You already have the item on request or checked out.
Your library might have rules where you cannot place a request on a certain item status. For example, lost, missing, in transit, checked in, etc.
Your library discarded the item.
You cannot request reference materials.
Check with your librarian if you require further assistance.
For information on how to view your items on request, see View Items on Request. If you would like to request a specific copy, see Place Item on Request.
My Lists: When you click My Lists, select the heading title of your saved list shown on the right pane of the drawer, as shown below. For information on how to save items to a list, see Save Lists.

Once your list displays, select the check box(es) for the items you want to place a request. Tip! To select all of the items in your list at once, click the check box located to the left of Remove Selected. An example is shown below.

Next click the Request Selected button as shown below.
