How do you determine if an item is available? The availability status symbol can be found in the following locations: Titles search page, Browse Genre page, Display Case, or Details page. Depending on your library's settings, the Browse Genre and Display Case may not be shown.
Titles search page - List view: After you perform a search in the individual search results, availability status states available or not available. In addition, a solid color circle displays on the bottom of the right corner of the individual search results, as shown below. A solid green circle advises the item is available, while the solid red circle advises not available at this time.

By placing your mouse over not available or available, a pop-up provides the library location and the status of the item. If the title has more than ten copies, only the first ten will display. The status of an item can be any of the following: In Transit, Checked Out, Overdue, On Request, In Processing, Lost, Missing, No Copies, etc. An example of the pop-up is shown below.

- Grid view. After you perform a search, in the individual
search results, a solid color circle displays below the Save to a
list
button, as shown
below. A solid green circle advises the item is available while
a solid red circle advises not available at this time.

Browse Genre page: Place your mouse over a book jacket. A solid color circle displays in the right corner of the pop-up, as shown in the example below. A solid green circle advises the item is available while a solid red circle advises not available at this time.

Details page: Whenever you click a book jacket, you are redirected to the Details page. The availability status displays to the right of the call number on the Description tab and Copies tab. An example is shown below. Only items with a status of Checked Out and Overdue will show a due back date below the status; This date provides a general idea as to when the item should be expected back in the library by the current borrower.

Display Case: Place your mouse over a book jacket. A solid color circle displays in the right of the pop-up, as shown below. A solid green circle advises the item is available, while a solid red circle advises not available at this time.
