Change My Home Address

Have you recently moved?  To change your address with the library, click My Account located on the bottom of the screen or from the Book River.  When you click the My Account drawer, if you have not logged on to the system, a log on dialog box prompts for your credentials.  Type your Library ID/PIN or User Name/Password credentials.  If you forgot your credentials or need information on how to access your account, see Log On.  If you do not have an account, register for a temporary library card or see your librarian to set one up.

 

Once logged on, click Edit Contact Info, as shown in the example below.  

Note:  Depending on your library's setup, if Edit Contact Info is not shown as an option, you will not be able to edit your home address.  Consult with your librarian to make this change.

An Edit Contact Info dialog box displays, as shown in the example below.

Click the appropriate Address, City, or State / ZIP field, highlight the old information, and type your new address.  If these fields are shaded, you will not be able to edit your home address.  See your librarian to request a home address change. When you are finished with your changes, type your PIN/Password information in the For security reasons, please enter your PIN/Password field.  In some cases, you may only be allowed to type your PIN information, if noted.  Next, click Save.  Your information has been updated and you are returned to the My Account drawer.

 

Note:  The Address, City, State, and ZIP are required fields.  Failure to type information in any of these fields will not allow you to save your changes.  A message appears, notifying you to specify a value for the [name] field.  Click OK and you are then returned to Edit Contact Info screen.  The required fields display in red text and an asterisk along with red highlighted field boxes, as shown in the example below.  Enter information in each of the required fields, then click Save.

If your PIN/Password is incorrect or you did not enter this information, a message appears advising, The PIN/Password you entered was incorrect.  Your information was not saved.  Re-type your PIN/Password to save your changes.  Once again, in some cases, you may only be allowed to type your PIN information, if noted.

 

Did you change your mind about modifying your home address?  If so, click the Cancel button.  Your address remains unchanged.  You are returned to the My Account drawer.

 

To log off or to continue with your current session and close the tabs, click the X located to the right of the My Account drawer, as shown in the example below.

You are redirected to the Titles search page; continue as desired or select Log Off.  

 

WARNING! Protect your identity by selecting Log Off once you are finished with your current session.  Failure to log off could allow other borrowers to access your personal information.  After a certain amount of time with no mouse activity, you will be automatically logged off.
